Who said the only race in Sigulda was on ice?
During the IBSF World Cup in Sigulda (18–21 December), Green Distribution turned up the heat with two Buldak Spicy Challenges – hosted by stand-up comedian, journalist and podcaster Mr Edgars Bāliņš, who had the crowd cheering from the first noodle to the last.
First on the start line were Latvian bobsleigh athletes, next came the “open class” for fans. One contestant even joined the already full line-up on the condition that she could eat a double-spicy portion. She didn’t win the race, but she did beat the bowl – to loud applause from the stands.
Winners of both challenges walked away with big Buldak prize packs – noodles and sauces to keep the flavor going for a long time. Every other brave participant received Buldak sauces as a thank-you for adding some extra fire to the Sigulda weekend and to their everyday meals.
