Buldak Ramen's popularity took the world by storm with an idea stemming from Samyang Foods' president Kim Jung-Soo herself. An idea came to her after witnessing a long line of people waiting for spicy stir-fried dish in Myeong-dong. After two years of research and development, the first spicy stir-fried noodle, 'Buldak Ramen,' was launched on April 15, 2012. The lineup has since expanded to >32 products, including 16 types of ramen, as well as HMR, snacks, and sauces.
